Hot fudge chocolate pudding cake is extremely easy and fast to make! a rich chocolate fudge sauce forms underneath a layer of chocolate cake while baking, by itself!!

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
3/4 cup white sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa powder, divided
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
½ cup light brown sugar
1 ¾ cups boiling water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square cake pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Add milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar with the remaining 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter.
Pour boiling water over the top and bake for 40-45 minutes, until the cake is set in the center.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
