Meatball Boats



Meatball boats are a fun and delicious way to enjoy a classic meatball sub. These boats are made by hollowing out baguettes or rolls and filling them with juicy meatballs, marinara sauce, and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for a casual dinner or a game-day snack, meatball boats are easy to make and sure to be a hit with both kids and adults.   • For the Meatballs:
    • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
    • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 1 large egg
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Boats:
    • 4 small baguettes or large sub rolls
    • 2 cups marinara sauce
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
