Spaghetti Garlic Butter Rolls



  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


  1. Cook Spaghetti:
    • Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Combine Spaghetti and Sauce:
    • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce. Toss well to coat the spaghetti evenly with the sauce.
  4. Add Parmesan and Parsley:
    • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley over the spaghetti. Toss again to combine.
  5. Season:
    • Season the spaghetti with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the seasoning according to your preference.
  6. Prepare Rolls:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Take a bread roll and slice it in half horizontally. Place the halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread Garlic Butter:
    • Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and brush it generously over the cut sides of the bread rolls.
  8. Assemble and Bake:
    • Spoon the garlic butter spaghetti onto each bread roll half, spreading it evenly.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of each roll.
  9. Bake:
    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the rolls are toasted and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let the rolls cool slightly before serving.
    • Optionally, sprinkle extra parsley or Parmesan cheese on top for garnish.
