### Instructions
1. **Preheat Oven & Prep:** Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
2. **Combine Dry Ingredients:** In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
3. **Combine Wet Ingredients:** In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, honey, and egg until well combined.
4. **Combine Wet & Dry:** Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.
5. **Bake:** Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
6. **Cool & Serve:** Let the Heaven Bites cool in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into squares or desired shapes. Garnish with fresh cilantro if using. Serve warm or at room temperature.
### Short Tips
* For extra smoky flavor, use fire-roasted cornmeal if you can find it.
* Adjust the cayenne pepper to your preferred spice level. A pinch more goes a long way!
* These bites are also delicious with a drizzle of extra honey just before serving.
* Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
* Get creative with add-ins! A sprinkle of crumbled cooked bacon or finely diced jalapeños would be fantastic.
