Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the corn syrup and sugar over low heat, stirring gently until the sugar is dissolved. Be careful not to boil—it just needs to melt together.
  2. Stir in the peanut butter until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Remove from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch baking dish. Press down lightly with a spatula.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butterscotch chips and milk chocolate chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Pour and spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the bars.
  7. Let the bars cool at room temperature until the topping is set. Slice into squares and enjoy!
