Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups water
2 packets chicken gravy mix
1 1/4 cups condensed cream of chicken soup
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Instructions:
Prepare the Gravy:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the water, chicken gravy mix, condensed cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, kosher salt, paprika, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.
Layer the Slow Cooker:
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Pour the prepared gravy mixture evenly over the chicken.
Cook the Chicken:
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Thicken the Gravy (Optional):
If you prefer a thicker gravy, remove the chicken breasts and whisk in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of cold water. Return the chicken to the pot and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Serve:
Serve the chicken with gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a complete, satisfying meal.
