Directions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
    • Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic
    • In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Noodles
    • Pour in the chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil, then add the egg noodles.
    • Reduce the heat to medium and cook the noodles for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Combine the Dish
    • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and heavy cream (if using) until well combined.
    • Return the chicken to the skillet, nestling it on top of the noodles. Heat for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
  5. Serve and Garnish
    • Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tips & Variations:

  • Add Veggies: Toss in some peas, spinach, or broccoli for a balanced meal.
  • Cheese Swap: Use grated Romano or Asiago for a flavor twist.
  • Spice It Up: Sprinkle red pepper flakes over the chicken for a kick.

This one-pan dish is perfect for busy weeknights, delivering comfort and flavor in every bite.
