Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Stir in shredded cheese until evenly coated.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, sour cream, egg, and melted butter.
- Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until just combined — don’t overmix.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely before slicing.
