This hearty casserole has been our family’s celebration dish since Grandma discovered it in an old church cookbook.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
