### Instructions:

1. **Preheat Oven and Prepare Ingredients:** Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large baking dish (oven-safe, 9×13 inch is perfect), add the cherry tomatoes. Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the tomatoes.
2. **Season and Roast:** Drizzle the olive oil over the tomatoes and feta. Scatter the minced garlic, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using) over everything. Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
3. **Bake Until Golden:** Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tomatoes have burst and softened, and the feta is golden brown and creamy.
4. **Cook Pasta:** While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook your pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.
5. **Combine and Serve:** Remove the baking dish from the oven. Using a fork or a potato masher, gently mash the roasted tomatoes and feta together until they form a creamy sauce. Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss well to combine. If the sauce seems too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
6. **Garnish and Enjoy:** Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.

### Short Tips:

* **Don’t skimp on the olive oil!** It helps the tomatoes burst and creates a rich sauce.
* **Use good quality feta.** It makes a big difference in flavor.
* **Customize it!** Add a sprinkle of fresh spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or even some grilled chicken for extra protein.
* **Reserve pasta water.** It’s your secret weapon for a perfectly saucy dish.
* **For extra tang,** add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice at the end.
