### Instructions:
1. **Preheat & Prep:** Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
2. **Combine the Sauce:** In a medium bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar (or Worcestershire), brown sugar (if using), smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
3. **Score the Sausages:** Lightly score the tops of your sausages 2-3 times with a sharp knife. This helps them cook through evenly and allows the sauce to penetrate better.
4. **Coat the Sausages:** Place the sausages on the prepared baking sheet. Pour about half of the BBQ sauce mixture over the sausages, ensuring they are well coated.
5. **Initial Bake:** Bake for 20 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the sausages are beginning to brown and cook through.
6. **Glaze & Finish:** Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Pour the remaining BBQ sauce mixture over the sausages, spreading it evenly. Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sausages are fully cooked and the sauce has caramelized into a sticky, glossy glaze.
7. **Rest & Serve:** Remove from the oven and let the sausages rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with optional fresh parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds if desired.
### Short Tips:
* **Don’t overcrowd the pan:** Give the sausages space on the baking sheet so they can brown properly.
* **Spice it up:** Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to your BBQ sauce for an extra kick.
* **Easy sides:** Serve these baked BBQ sausages with roasted vegetables, a simple green salad, mashed potatoes, or rice for a complete meal. They’re also fantastic in a bun as a gourmet sausage sandwich!
* **Make ahead:** The BBQ sauce can be mixed ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
* **Leftovers:** Store leftover sausages in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. They reheat beautifully!
